ABOUT US
We work with our parastatals and partners to support Zimbabwe’s transport network ‘which’ helps businesses and facilitates movement of people and goods around the country. We plan and invest in transport infrastructure to keep Zimbabwe on the move.
WHAT WE DO
Provision of road, rail, air, inland waters services, transport policies and regulations.
GISP provides email hosting services to the Government of Zimbabwe. We are available for various ministries, departments, parastatals and commissions.
State Enterprises & Parastatals
NRZ
To be a provider of world class railway infrastructure and transport services in Zimbabwe by 2020. The National Railways of Zimbabwe was established in terms of the Railways Act [Chapter 13:09].
ZINARA
The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) is a body corporate which was established in 2000 in terms of the Road Act[Chapter 13:18].
TSCZ
The Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe emerged from the Zimbabwe Traffic Safety Board which originated from a voluntary organisation composed of area associations in Harare (then Salisbury), Bulawayo, Gweru (then Gwelo) and Mutare ( then Umtali). The Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe was established in terms of the Traffic Safety Council Act [Chapter 13:17].
CMED
We hire out utility vehicles ranging from lorries, tippers, etc to government institutions, parastatals, private companies and individuals.
CAAZ
The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe operates a network of eight airports designed to facilitate trade and tourism. The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe was established in terms of the Civil Aviation Act [13:16]. It controls aircraft movement within our airspace to prevent accidents.
Air Zimbabwe
Air Zimbabwe is the national Airline for Zimbabwe whose main purpose is to provide Air travel solutions for the Zimbabwean community, the African continent and the world at large.
RMS
Operates a network of eight airports designed to facilitate trade and tourism. Promotes the development, safe, regular & efficient use of aviation. Controls aircraft movement within our airspace to prevent accidents.
ACZ
Acquire, establish, develop, maintain, manage, control and operate airports in Zimbabwe. Establish, provide and maintain road approaches, apparatus, equipment building and facilities in connection with the airports
NHS
National Handling Services takes pride in passenger handling, ramp handling services, cargo handling services, VIP/Charter handling and Freighter handling services among other services.
